Hydropower

The mountains of Asia provide a huge hydropower potential which has the potential to solve the energy crisis. To predict river flows and assess this potential, accurate data and information about local weather is required. REAMO intends to develop networks of stations from the mountains to the plains and develop hydropower services based on local weather data and hydrological models to forecast and project river flows and to identify high potential sites for hydropower development.
