Early Warning

Natural disasters such as floods and landslides result in many casualties and economic damage annually in Asia. Accurate information and real-time data about weather conditions which generally drive those disasters is essential and can potentially reduce the impacts. REAMO intends to develop early warning systems based on networks of stations from the mountains to the plains across the region. The data from these networks will be used to develop web and mobile based early warning applications.
